First off I got married back in May, which was an amazing day in the Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh. Since then my work has kept me rather busy, and the amount of holidays I took over the wedding has rather curtailed my ability to attend conventions this year. 

However, I have not been idle on the games design front.

B-Movie 1 & 2 are still available and the next expansion 'Action Movie' is done. It will be released next year. Action Movie will present some new rules to allow you to create films with a secondary title, and also change the way titles are put together so you get more 'actiony' sounding titles.

Reel Adventures is in layout and will be released at Conception 2011. This action movie rpg has really come together over the last few months and I look forward to getting the finished product in my hands, and sharing it with you fine folks. 

After both these products are released I am hoping to release 'Stitch' a time travel game I have been working on for a while. I have some really solid ideas on how to get this working, and I should be running some games of it at Conception. The game will be ready for release next year.

Firstly I would like to thank all the shops and customers who purchased games from us over the last year. It really makes it worthwhile knowing people are enjoying your game.

I am getting married in May so will unfortunately not be able to attend Games Expo in June. The Giant Brain's games will be there though, you will be able to get them from the Collective Endevaour stall. I am sure they will be happy to give you a demo as well.

Reel Adventures is finished! I am working on a new version of the manuscript at the moment and then it will go to one more round of playtesting with the final manuscript as well as proof reading and editing. I am really happy with the way the game has come out and am looking forward to releasing it later this year. 

Action Movie is pretty much done as well, and that should see release later in the year. 

As to future projects, I have had some idea on how to make Stitch work and it is likely you will see a free PDF version of that before too long. 

Over the year I will be revisiting the themes of Mob Justice and writing a new game based in the world of gangsters, thieves and criminals. I am hoping to finish development of that by the end of the year and release it sometime in 2011. 

I think that is enough to go on for now.

So at Indiecon I will be running:

 Action Movie tournament: This will be the first public playtest of the latest expansion to the 'Revenge of the B-Movie line of games'. Basically the same gameplay but with a few new rules to handle secondary titles and the shorter length of most action movie titles. This will also be the first tournament that 'The Giant Brain' has ever run and we will be offering the chance to win a preview deck or two of the game to those who come up with the best titles.

Reel Adventures: This action movie rpg is almost done and needs just a little more spit and polish. In order to give it that I will be running a couple of games and my good friend Andrew Kendrick of 'Dead of Night' fame will be running one that I can observe and take notes on. Hopefully we will use the top three titles from the above tournament as the film titles!

I will also be running some Inspectres and some other indie goodness. All going well I will have a brand new project with me to test with people. Catch up with me at the con if you are going and I will let you have a look at it the early stages.
